Beckhoff Automation opens office in Charlotte, NC

August 11, 2009 - Beckhoff Automation opened a Sales and Engineering Center in Charlotte, N.C. The expansion comes as a response to heightened demand from Beckhoff customers in North Carolina and South Carolina for training courses, technical support and sales support.Beckhoff Automation has also hired Ron Pryor as a Customer Service Engineer and Les Queen as an Application Engineer - both are now based at the Charlotte office. Ron Pryor worked previously for ATS Carolina and has a wealth of PLC, HMI and motion control experience to draw upon. Les Queen joined Beckhoff after working for Cross Automation and running his own systems integration company. He is highly skilled in developing product training courses and will be tasked with teaching classes at Beckhoff’s Charlotte and Atlanta area facilities. “Adding a new Sales and Engineering Center in Charlotte with two skilled automation experts like Les and Ron is instrumental to best serve our customers,” said Leo Young, East Region Manager, Beckhoff Automation. “As in all parts of the country, the economic climate continues to be challenging for businesses in the southeast. However, the Beckhoff team is now stronger than ever to help customers through to better days with cost-saving and performance enhancing automation technology.
