October 1, 2009 - Okuma America will open the Okuma Technical Center in Houston, Texas November 10-12, 2009, and the Chicago center on October 27 and 28, 2009.Opening day ceremonies will include machining and productivity seminars, covering topics such as Set-up Reduction, Automation, Universal Machining and Lean Manufacturing. Live-cutting demonstrations, exhibits from multiple tooling and accessories builders, and food and refreshments will be available throughout each three-day event. The Chicago event will feature an appearance by Richard Childress, one of RCR’s lead drivers and show cars.
