SoftDEL BACnet Testing Laboratory achieves ISO accreditation

April 6, 2010 - The SoftDEL operated BACnet Test Laboratory (BTL) is now ISO17025:2005 accredited. The lab which has been in operation for over three years is open to accepting BACnet devices to be certified for world-wide markets. ISO accreditation demonstrates that SoftDEL Systems has successfully completed the ISO evaluation process, including an assessment of the laboratory’s compliance with the A2LA Information Technology Program Requirements.ISO 17025 is the international standard by which a laboratory’s commitment to quality is evaluated. SoftDEL Systems achieved this accreditation by demonstrating technical competence for product compliance testing with the BACnet building automation protocol, and for the operation and effectiveness of its laboratory.
