Invensys CEO Ulf Henriksson steps down

March 27, 2011 - Invensys announces that Wayne Edmunds, who has been Chief Financial Officer of the Company since 2009, has been appointed Chief Executive with immediate effect. Ulf Henriksson has today stepped down as Chief Executive and as a director of the Company. David Thomas, who has held senior financial roles within the Group since 2002, has been appointed Acting Chief Financial Officer and a permanent appointment will be made in due course after consideration of internal and external candidates. Sir Nigel Rudd, Chairman of Invensys plc, commented: “I am delighted that Wayne has agreed to take on the role of Chief Executive to lead Invensys through the next stage of its development. We have three world class businesses and a management team to match, and I am confident that Invensys is well positioned to continue to deliver value to shareholders.

We wish him well for the future.” Wayne Edmunds biography Wayne Edmunds was appointed a director and Chief Financial Officer of Invensys on 1 June 2009. He was previously Chief Financial Officer of Invensys Process Systems, the largest of the three businesses that came together to form Invensys Operations Management. He joined the Group from Reuters America, Inc. and previously held senior financial roles in the technology sector, including 17 years with Lucent Technologies, Inc.

David Thomas biography David Thomas joined Invensys in 2002 as Group Controller, having previously been a senior partner in Ernst & Young specialising in long-term industrial contracting businesses. At Invensys he has worked across many of our businesses and has held CFO and CEO roles within the divisions. He was latterly SVP Business Risk with responsibility for risk management across the Group and additional responsibility for the Group’s pension schemes. He is a member of the Auditing Practices Board.
