Together with Andreas Schneider, Chief Marketing Officer, and Uwe Thumm, Chief Financial Officer, he will promote the company's technology and drive business growth on a global scale. He will replace Markus Brehler, who has left the company. “I’m really excited to be part of EnOcean”, said Laurent Giai-Miniet. “The company is a leader in energy harvesting wireless technology and a key player in the building and industrial automation markets. Most recently he was General Manager for Low Power RF Products (LPRF), based in Oslo, Norway. He was responsible for the entire Product Line, Managing Marketing, Business Development and Support. A French national, he began his career with TI in 1991 as a Field Sales Engineer in France and has since then held various positions including Regional Sales Director for France and Middle East & Africa and later European Business Development Director for High-Volume Analog & Logic Products in Freising, Germany. “EnOcean continues to expand its international scope with rapidly increasing demand and the expansion of its customer base in China, Europe and North America”, said Samuel Simonsson, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of EnOcean. “In Laurent Giai-Miniet we are appointing a dynamic and charismatic CEO with many years of experience of the wireless industry and proven international leadership skills. We are confident Laurent will successfully drive further expansion of the company. At the same time I would like to thank Markus Brehler for his many years of service to EnOcean and for leading the company to its current strong market position.” Founded in 2001, EnOcean manufactures and markets wireless modules that draw their power from the surrounding environment through energy harvesting.
