October 22, 2012 - Rittal updates its web site with the SmartSelect tool and the QuickQuote application.

A click on the button at the upper right-hand corner of the home page opens SmartSelect for instant project planning. It’s a simple point-and-click process.

1. Select a product category – either enclosures or climate control
2. Decide to limit the search to the 2,200+ parts included in Rittal’s RittalXpress Stocking Program, or include all products available from Rittal
3. Then select from product dimensions, ratings, material, colors and more.

Search results are automatically updated with every selection. Results report exact matches as well as close alternatives for consideration. A simple click on desired product provides views of the product detail, drawings, installation videos and more.

Rittal’s QuickQuotes application – also available via a link on the home page – enables the user to create a custom bill of material for any enclosure, climate control product and accessory and automatically produces a U.S. list price estimate for the individual configurations as they are created – making it easy to then print, save and submit for a detailed quote or final order.

Both these unique ordering tools are also available via Rittal’s mobile version of its website which can be accessed on most smartphones, tablets and mobile devices.
