Hannover Fairs USA (HFUSA) has partnered with the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) to host the IFPE Fluid Power Zone during the Motion Drive & Automation North America 2014 (MDA North America) trade show and conference September 8-13, 2014.
April 25, 2014 - Building off the success of IFPE Fluid Power Zone’s debut at Industrial Automation North America 2012 (Industrial Automation NA), Hannover Fairs USA (HFUSA) has again partnered with the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) to host the IFPE Fluid Power Zone during its inaugural Motion Drive & Automation North America 2014 (MDA North America) trade show and conference. MDA North America and Industrial Automation NA are co-located with the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) at McCormick Place in Chicago from September 8-13, 2014. The IFPE Fluid Power Zone is designed as a dedicated exhibitor space within MDA North America to showcase new and recently launched fluid power and machine control design technologies. “Industrial Automation NA and MDA North America offer platforms for the complete range of automation technologies and innovations from around the world,” said Larry Turner, CEO of HFUSA. “In the IFPE Fluid Power Zone, companies big and small will be launching products that are vitally important to the factory of the future. We’re thrilled to host the IFPE Fluid Power Zone in conjunction with NFPA to offer attendees access to groundbreaking products from leading global companies. Many of the IFPE Fluid Power Zone 2012 exhibitors are returning this year and have booked bigger stands.” Commenting on his company’s plans for exhibiting in the IFPE Fluid Power Zone, Barry Schoenborn, International Business Manager of Thermal Transfer Products, said, “Thermal Transfer Products (Booth E-5027) will feature several recently launched heat exchanger models and options this year. We will showcase our new BP Series (brazed plate coolers), BOL by-pass option (new thermal & pressure relief), PF Series (plate and frame coolers), as well as the Cool Loop COLW option (water cooled kidney loop), an exciting new product for the machine tool market.” Thermal Transfer Products is one of the first, if not the first, Heat Exchanger manufacturers to offer a full turn-key and off-line cooling system (heat exchanger, micron filtration and screw/transfer pump) utilizing its EK & C series shell and tube heat exchangers. TTP offers both floor and wall mount models. Its pre-engineered mini fluid conditioning systems are ordered with one single part number so end-users do not need to spend expensive engineering resources to choose and specify components and then build/manufacture the system. Commenting on the company’s decision to return to the IFPE Fluid Power Zone 2014, Jim Brooks, President of Wandfluh of America, Inc. (Booth E-4928) said, “We actively reached out to our clients to pre-arrange business meetings and new product demonstrations in our exhibition space during the IFPE Fluid Power Zone 2012. As a result, many of our long-term clients bought new products so it made perfect sense to return and to double our booth size at IFPE Fluid Power Zone 2014.” At this year’s IFPE Fluid Power Zone, Wandfluh of America is launching a new line of high pressure valves available in cross-over configuration with top pressure rating to 6,000 psi for use on precision machinery and applications sensitive to over-pressurization. The company also is introducing digital smart control electronic proportional screw-in cartridges for demanding applications in the mobile, marine, oil & gas and energy markets. The company plans to introduce its new PD2 digital low cost amplifiers that are adjustable and are offered in both coil or cord version, as well as its new SD7digital amplifier module, which is distinguished by its compact construction and by an excellent price-performance ratio. Bimba Manufacturing Company (Booth E-5030) Director of Marketing, Tom Wood, states, “This is our first year exhibiting in the IFPE Fluid Power Zone and attending MDA North America. The show is a perfect fit with our industry focus and a natural extension of our marketing efforts. We look forward to connecting with many of our current and potential clients during the show to introduce them to our new technologies we will be launching later this summer.” Bimba Manufacturing Company is showcasing its new line of pneumatic and electric actuator positioning solutions, as well as its new line of IntelliMotor stepper and servo drive motion control products. The company will also be showing its SPCS, servo pneumatic control system. The system provides closed loop pneumatic proportional control for all Bimba position feedback actuators. Industrial Automation NA and MDA North America have sold out more than six months prior to the events. In 2014, the combined trade shows will feature more than 170 exhibitors from 19 countries, including the United States, China, Germany, Italy and Taiwan. Global exhibitors will unveil the latest industrial manufacturing technology products and services across 12 product categories.
