January 17, 2018 – Control Station announced its 2018 North America training services calendar. The schedule builds upon a 2017 campaign and continues to leverage the company’s network of partners.
Control Station’s 2018 training services calendar currently lists a total of sixteen workshops scheduled in industrial centers across the United States and Canada. In particular the scheduled workshops target process manufacturers located throughout the Great Lakes, Gulf and Pacific Northwest regions. Workshops focus on best-practices for assessing and optimizing a production facility’s PID controllers. Partner organizations engaged to co-host the 2- and 3-day workshops include distributors of automation products and services such as Border States Electric, Gerrie Electric, Rexel USA, and Werner Electric. Control Station anticipates the listing of additional workshops in the Southeast region later in the year.

Control Station’s 2018 training program capitalizes on recent expansion. The company increased access to its hands-on application workshops as a compliment to its growing portfolio of process diagnostic and optimization offerings. Based on the Practical Process Control curriculum the workshops clarify the interactive functions of the PID controller and demystify the methods for tuning the many PID controllers whether through the application of manual techniques or through the use of PID tuning software. Practical Process Control is a simulation-based curriculum that is utilized by 100s of colleges and universities around the world to prepare individuals for careers in manufacturing.
