Silicon Software and Basler announce management switch

July 30, 2019 – Silicon Software GmbH and Basler AG announce a change in the management of their subsidiary.

Dr. Dietmar Ley, CEO of Basler AG, will take over the management of Silicon Software GmbH until further notice. Dr. Klaus-Henning Noffz, former Managing Director of Silicon Software GmbH, will assume strategic responsibilities at Basler AG with immediate effect. The ceremonial handover took place at this year's International Sales Meeting in the presence of distribution partners.

Basler is a manufacturer of high-quality cameras and camera accessories for industry, medicine, traffic and a variety of other markets. The company's product portfolio encompasses area scan and line scan cameras in compact housing dimensions, camera modules in board level variants for embedded solutions, and 3D cameras.

Silicon Software GmbH, founded in 1997 and based in Mannheim, Germany, is a manufacturer of hardware for image acquisition and processing of industrial cameras and software for graphic programming of vision processors.
