October 29, 2019 – Thorlabs and KMLabs announced that Thorlabs has acquired the KMLabs’ Y-Fi portfolio, a family of NIR/MIR ultrafast fiber lasers, OPAs, and NOPAs. Based on a fiber amplification technique, KMLabs’ ytterbium fiber lasers provide short pulse durations at the microjoule level.
