SkillPointe Foundation Expands Partnership With Schneider Electric to Provide Scholarships for High Demand Skilled Careers

ATLANTA, Aug. 26, 2025 – The SkillPointe Foundation is proud to announce the expansion of its strategic partnership with Schneider Electric, a global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, to further empower aspiring workers pursuing skilled careers in digital buildings and automation.

Through a new $100,000 investment from Schneider Electric, the Schneider Electric SkillPointe Scholarship will continue to offer $3,000 grants to individuals seeking education and training in building energy management, automation and related high-demand fields. This initiative builds on successful scholarship programs previously launched in Boston, Dallas and New York City.

“At Schneider Electric, we believe a sustainable and resilient future starts with a skilled workforce,” said Chris Collins, senior vice president, U.S. Digital Buildings for Schneider Electric, who is in the photo above. “Our partnership with the SkillPointe Foundation reflects a shared commitment to removing barriers to education and opening doors to high-impact careers in energy management and automation. These scholarships aren’t just financial support—they’re investments in people, communities and the future of our industry.”

Collins recently was appointed to SkillePointe Foundation’s board of directors. Schneider Electric has donated more than $200,000 to the foundation in the past three years.

“Schneider Electric recognizes that skilled career scholarships unlock life-changing opportunities—not just for individuals, but for companies and communities across America,” said Alvin Townley, founding executive director of the SkillPointe Foundation. “We’re proud to deepen this innovative partnership and work together to help more aspiring workers achieve their goals, strengthen our workforce and build a brighter future for our country.”
