Senseye Partners with PTC to Accelerate Predictive Maintenance Technology Adoption

Feb. 16, 2020 - Senseye, the Machine Health Management company, today announced a collaboration with PTC (NASDAQ: PTC) to make Senseye’s predictive maintenance software suite (Senseye PdM) available to users of PTC’s ThingWorx® Industrial IoT (IIoT) Solutions Platform.

Senseye PdM can connect to the ThingWorx ecosystem, allowing users to monitor assets automatically and even anticipate future machine failures by applying Senseye's proprietary algorithms and AI technology.

Senseye’s specialized software for predictive maintenance is trusted by Fortune 500 industrial organizations globally as part of digital transformation initiatives. It provides users with new sources of competitive advantage by reducing unplanned downtime, spare parts inventory, and maintenance expenditure.

Global manufacturers across a range of industries have halved their levels of unplanned downtime and achieved reductions in maintenance costs of up to 40 per cent using Senseye PdM.

Simon Kampa, CEO of Senseye, commented: “Integrating Senseye PdM with ThingWorx allows users to introduce condition monitoring and predictive maintenance immediately across their production environments by analyzing their existing sources of machine data and accelerates the returns available from reducing the risk of machine failure and improving operational efficiency.”

Matt Hardman, senior director - AI & Analytics at PTC, commented: “We are committed to delivering innovation that drives value for our customers, and our alliance with Senseye enables us to deliver just that. ThingWorx users can now connect their machines and maintenance data to Senseye PdM and start receiving actionable insights to help improve the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of their manufacturing and maintenance operations.”
