Stratus Technologies Formally Becomes Penguin Solutions

April 23, 2025 - Penguin Solutions, Inc., announced the company’s brand transition from Stratus Technologies, Inc. to Penguin Solutions, Inc. was completed today.

Founded in 1980, Stratus Technologies is a market leader known for delivering high-availability, fault-tolerant computing solutions to customers across a broad range of markets. In 2022, Stratus was acquired by SGH, which rebranded to Penguin Solutions, Inc. in October 2024. This rebrand was a part of the company’s strategic transformation from a holding company into a robust end-to-end infrastructure solution provider in AI and beyond.

Combining with Penguin Solutions’ AI and high-performance computing offerings significantly expands the product portfolio’s capabilities, adding the flexibility and knowledge to customize solutions to support the specific needs of modern enterprises. Stratus customers and partners will now have access to advanced computing solutions for AI that span from the data center to the edge and the cloud.
