SAN MATEO, California - Oct. 28, 2021 - Today, the Coalition for Open Process Automation (COPA) is pleased to announce a 90-minute virtual broadcast, to demonstrate the world’s first industrial control system based upon the open standard O-PAS. COPA is a diverse group of leading OT and IT technology companies collaborating to create commercial products based on O-PAS. COPA members include Phoenix Contact, ASRock Industrial, CODESYS, Supermicro, Stahl,, CSI, SMAR, Yokogawa and ETP.

The COPA member companies have brought together decades of process control and distributed systems expertise. They are innovating and accelerating the open & secure future of industrial control systems. In the broadcast, the benefits of an O-PAS based system will be demonstrated using the COPA QuickStart™ Control System.

This broadcast will include the following:

Keynote: Don Bartusiak, co-chair of the Open Process Automation Forum and founder of CSI. Don is widely known as the "Father of Open Process Automation,” and previously served as ExxonMobil"s Chief Engineer for Process Control.
