Alva Industries to Present World’s Thinnest & Lightest Precision Torque Motor at SPS Tradeshow

TRONDHEIM, Norway - Oct. 16, 2024 - Alva Industries (Alva), a manufacturer of frameless motors with FiberPrinting technology, has announced it will demonstrate its new SlimTorq Series Lite & Max precision torque motors at SPS Tradeshow Nov. 12-14 in Nuremberg, Germany.

SlimTorq is a range of slotless thin-section motors ideal for high-precision and high speed applications on land, sea, air and space. SlimTorq motors are manufactured by the company’s revolutionary FiberPrinting technology which enables ironless and slotless motor windings with up to 60% copper fill factor, setting a new standard in precision, torque density and adaptability.

Alva will be located at Booth #470 in Hall 3. If you are attending, please contact the team to arrange a live demo, or just come to the booth and the team will make sure to put you in touch with the right contact person.

SlimTorq motors are available as standard in sizes from 25mm to 160mm outer diameter. The next-generation FiberPrinting manufacturing approach also enables Alva to develop custom rotary, linear and arc motors on rapid timelines.

“Given the unique benefits of SlimTorq, we have seen huge interest for the product line since we launched it earlier this month,” said Nicolas Giraudo, CCO at Alva. “We are excited to meet with all the advanced manufacturers at SPS looking to take their mechatronics, robotics and automation systems to the next level."

SPS is the industry highlight of the automation sector with more than 50,000 attendees and 1,200 exhibitors. The event represents the complete spectrum of smart and digital automation–from simple sensors to intelligent solutions. ‍
