Heliene Boosts Solar Module Manufacturing With camLine's MES Solar Edition

Sept. 23, 2025 – Heliene Inc., a leading American manufacturer of high-performance solar modules, has implemented camLine's InFrame Synapse MES Solar Edition to transform production operations at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Mountain Iron, Minnesota, and in Rogers, a northwest suburb of the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area.

Heliene chose camLine as their long-term strategic partner due to their extensive experience and expertise in the solar PV module manufacturing industry. As the solar industry faces increasing pressure for supply chain transparency and quality assurance, this strategic partnership enhances traceability, boosts operational efficiency and positions Heliene at the forefront of smart solar manufacturing in America.

Principal components of the camLine’s MES solution involve:

  • Complete traceability from raw materials to finished products, enabling Heliene to track every component detail down to the module level
  • Real-time production monitoring and data collection for analytics that drives continuous process improvement
  • Customized operator UIs that display only the essential information needed for manual operations, ensuring maximum throughput without compromising quality
  • Scalability to support Heliene's future expansion plans, with the ability to easily add new production lines

"The implementation of camLine's InFrame Synapse MES Solar Edition has already yielded significant benefits for our manufacturing operations,” said Rick Biemann, VP of Growth at Heliene.

"It’s exciting that we can now track every component of our modules, which is a game-changer for quality control and customer satisfaction,” shared Aston Momanyi, automation control engineer at Heliene. “We look forward to further leveraging the system's capabilities as we continue to grow and expand our business."

MirĨo Krsteski, senior key account manager at camLine, also added, "We are thrilled to support Heliene in their mission to deliver high-quality solar modules to the North American market. Our MES solution, combined with our deep understanding of the solar industry, will help Heliene achieve their operational excellence goals and position them for long-term success."

With the implementation of camLine’s MES, Heliene can now benefit from real-time production visibility, improved quality data collection and plans for seamless integration with their existing ERP system.

The successful MES implementation marks the start of a long-term collaboration between Heliene and camLine, opening up promising opportunities for future projects across the entire value chain, including analytics, experimental design, artificial intelligence and recipe management.
