Trilogic Systems Establishes New Facility to Meet Systems Integration Demands

GLOUCESTER, MA., Sept 3, 2025 – Trilogic Systems, a leading provider of embedded computing products and services for military, industrial control and communications, has announced the opening of a new systems integration facility. Located in Iowa, the site supports high-mix, low-to-medium volume programs in the aerospace, defense and robotics sectors.

Integrated with Trilogic Systems’ existing design services, the ESD-optimized facility utilizes quality management processes that address the complexities of multi-vendor solutions.

Key features of the facility include:

  • VPX & rugged server integration: To fulfill the performance requirements of defense and aerospace customers, Trilogic Systems supports both next-generation VPX systems and standard 19-inch rack mount server architectures.
  • Configuration control and lifecycle management: Trilogic Systems delivers full traceability alongside rigorous configuration management and product-lifecycle oversight from bare component to rack-level integration.
  • Scalable, export-controlled production: As the physical hub of Trilogic Systems’ Engineering Center of Excellence, the facility operates in collaboration with a network of U.S.-based, ITAR-certified manufacturing partners.
  • Broad hardware expertise: The facility integrates small form-factor technologies such as COM Express and COM-HPC alongside rugged edge AI platforms such as NVIDIA for maximum design flexibility.

The new location represents part of a larger strategic expansion by Trilogic Systems, which has also invested in additional technical personnel and refined its processes so that every build, from component-level assembly to full-rack integration, progresses seamlessly from initial engineering to production.

“Rapid scaling has long been a challenge for major hardware initiatives,” said Justin Myers, director of Technology at Trilogic Systems. “This facility addresses that issue by leveraging our partner network to provide flexible support, whether at the development stage or preparing for deployment. From small form factor modules to full server systems, we’re helping reduce timelines and supply chain uncertainty.”

“Demand for solutions based on open standards such as MOSA and SOSA is exploding, but customers and even hardware manufacturers struggle with configuration control and lifecycle management once third-party technology is involved,” added Trilogic Systems President David Paul. “Our new site closes that gap by delivering complete, multi-vendor deployments at the low-to-medium volumes where the market actually starts.”

Trilogic Systems’ design services are available for both direct customers and solutions providers, who can offload the burden of third-party integration and lifecycle control by relying on the company’s fully integrated, small-lot systems. Trilogic Systems’ new facility is fully operational.
