Moore Industries announces WORM flexible temperature sensor

  • Moore Industries-International, Inc.

In new and retrofit applications, WORM Flexible Sensors replace straight sensor probes with a universal sensor that saves time and money. It fits any thermowell.

Moore Industries bakes and boils NCS DAQ for two years

  • Moore Industries-International, Inc.

The NCS has been running since February 2005 in an environmental chamber at temperatures up to 221°F to prove it will work in Middle Eastern applications.

Moore Industries' EPX2 E/P transmitter runs on natural gas

  • Moore Industries-International, Inc.

The EPX2 E/P transmitter is designed for use with normal instrument air, but it can also be used with natural gas, making it possible to use the transmitter in remote locations where no electrical power is available to drive air compressors. Its low power requirement of [email protected] allows it to be powered by a battery or solar panel at remote sites.

Moore Industries introduces BIMETAL Temperature Sensor with Local Readout

  • Moore Industries-International, Inc.

The BIMETAL Dual-Mode Remote Thermometer provides on-site indication of process temperature conditions, and simultaneously provides a mV or ohm signal proportional to temperature for input to a transmitter, Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), controller, recorder, indicator, PLC, DCS or SCADA system.

Moore Industries releases accurate THZ2 and TDZ2 Smart HART Transmitters

  • Moore Industries-International, Inc.

The loop-powered Smart HART Temperature and Signal transmitters have input-to-output analog accuracy up to ±0.025°F, the absolute best in the industry. The 4-20mA temperature output signal also has a superimposed HART digital signal, which allows any HART-compatible control device to program zero, span, sensor trim offset and other calibration variables, and to interrogate and read multiple real-time process variables.

MooreHawke gets FM Approval for ROUTE-MASTER Fieldbus Device Coupler

  • Moore Industries-International, Inc.

The ROUTE-MASTER Fieldbus System has been approved by Factory Mutual for use in the U.S. and Canada, clearing the way to apply it in hazardous areas. ROUTE-MASTER eliminates the crippling restrictions and extremely high cost of FISCO-based systems by allowing users to drive up to 350mA per segment and install up to 16 FOUNDATION Fieldbus instruments on a single fieldbus segment.

Moore Industries releases LRX Low-Power Temperature Transmitter

  • Moore Industries-International, Inc.

The LRX Low-Power Temperature Transmitter is suitable for oil and gas well-heads and similar installations where line power is not available. With an exceptionally low power consumption of only 3mA, the LRX mounts in remote or infrequently accessed field locations where solar or battery power systems are used.

Moore Industries announces SPA2 FM-approved programmable alarm trips

  • Moore Industries-International, Inc.

The SPA2 alarm trips accept input signals from transmitters, temperature sensors, resistance and potentiometer devices, and direct millivolt sources. They provide on/off control, warn of trouble, and provide for emergency shutdown by sending up to four relay outputs when a monitored process signal falls outside a user-selectable high/or low limit. The SPA2 is FM-approved for use in hazardous locations.
