RFID combines reusable data carriers (tags) that can withstand harsh environments and hold up to 8 Kbytes of information with antennas that can read and write to single and multiple tags simultaneously. Controllers route the data “how” and “where” you want it via serial or parallel communications, PLC, or DeviceNet interfaces.
