September 8, 2016 - Ice Qube, Inc. introduced the Evolution Series, an ordinary and hazardous locations Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C, & D air conditioner series.
The EV Evolution series standard features include full UL certification on all options, a compact foot print which makes this unit fit for smaller cabinets, three position condenser air flow with the option to direct hot discharge air in different directions.
All class 1 division 2 units come with a standard pressurization fitting. The Evolution Series class 1 division 2 models do not require purging as a protection method, but is included for customer convenience. For general purpose models the pressurization fitting is a great option when enclosure purging is necessary in ordinary locations.
The Evolution Series standard features include a standard digital controller with programmable temperatures and alarms. The controller can be installed on either the front or the rear of the unit, inside or outside of the enclosure. The Evolution Series can be used with or without purge system, uses environmentally friendly refrigerant, with a rotary compressor. A powder coat finish is standard on durable 16 gauge welded steel construction, with 304 or 316 Stainless steel available. All Evolution Series air conditioners use a flush mounted 10 micron electrostatic filter.
Extreme ambient operating temperature ranges are -40 degrees fahrenheit to 140 degrees fahrenheit or -40 degrees celsius to 60 degrees celsius. For maximum flexibility the Evolution Series features an internal configurable control panel where you will find the AC power input, and depending on the options chosen, this panel could also include a digital controller, an ethernet port, and an alarm output.
Industries and applications include, automation control panels, electrical control panels, distributed antenna system cabinets, kiosk and digital signage, cellular transmission cabinets, telecom, water treatment facilities, chemical, petrochemical, oil refineries, and onshore / offshore drilling operations.
