February 13, 2017 - Stealth.com has launched the LPC-800 series of fanless mini PCs. The LPC-800 series is versatile designed for a variety of environments and applications.
The LPC-800 series consists of 4 small form factor models; The LPC-810 is the smallest and lightest, the LPC-830 a mid-size system equipped with more storage and I/O functionality and LPC-860 which offers the highest performance in the series and lastly the LPC-862 which expands on the LPC-860 with two expansion slots.
The smallest of the family is the LPC-810 weighing in at 1.9 pounds (0.86kg) and can fit in the palm of your hand measuring just 5.9"(W) x 4.13"(D) x 1.9"(H) (150mm x 105mm x 49mm) in size.
The mid-sized LPC-830 small computer adds functionality, such as RAID, with support for two drives including a single front removable drive bay, expanded I/O ports and an increase in performance over the LPC-810.
The LPC-860 computer is powered by an Intel 6th Gen Core i5 or i7 Mobile Processor, supports up to 32GB DDR4 memory and up to 4TB in Solid State Drives (SSD) capacity when equipped with 4 internal drives. Raid support and POE network port options are also available. The LPC-860 also features 4K Ultra HD Resolution & Triple Display support via DisplayPort and DVI-I video ports.
The LPC-862 model enhances the LPC-860 with the addition of two expansion slots, offered with 3 different combinations of PCI & PCIe slots. Ideal applications would be for data acquisition, specialized graphics cards and expanded I/O cards.
The LPC-800 series is fanless and operates without noisy cooling fans which could draw in dirt and dust potentially causing catastrophic failures. SSD (Solid State Drives) are also utilized to meet extreme environmental conditions including high vibration, shock and humidity specifications.
The LPC-800 series is designed to operate on a range of 9-48V DC power input making it a fit for mobile, marine, transportation, field and remote based applications. Also brand new to Stealth's LPC-800 series is the addition of DIO (Digital input/output) ports with isolation.
