October 2, 2015 - Axiomtek announces PICO842 Pico-ITX motherboard that supports the Intel Celeron processors quad-core J1900 and dual-core N2807.
Its system memory supports up to 8GB of DDR3L. The extreme compact-size fanless embedded board supports dual display outputs through HDMI or VGA, and 18/24-bit single/dual channel LVDS. With improved media and graphics performance, the PICO842 is suitable for any graphics, imaging, and video intensive application. Its ultra slim size also makes it perfectly suitable for IoT, automation and embedded systems.
Pico-ITX motherboard is measuring 10cm x 7.2cm, 75% smaller than the Mini-ITX form factor.
Considering to the various storage demands and networking requests, the Axiomtek PICO842has a full-size PCI Express Mini Card slot with mSATA supported on the rear side. It also has a board-to-board expansion slot. Other advanced I/O interfaces include four USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports, one Gigabit Ethernet port, HD audio interface, and SATA-300 slot. This fanless embedded single board computer is designed using the most rugged components with long lifecycle design for harsh environment as well as IoT & M2M field. To ensure reliable operation, the small form factor embedded motherboard supports watchdog timer and hardware monitoring features. The fanless embedded platform runs well with Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems. In the meanwhile, the industrial embedded motherboard requests only +12V DC supply input into work.
