May 27, 2016 - The P470 thermocouple simulator is the latest in Highland Technology's line of USB and Ethernet-connected Bench-top modules. It features 8 isolated channels, each capable of simulating J, K, E, T, R, S, B and N thermocouple types, or outputing voltage in a range of ±100 millivolts with 20-bits of resolution. It can also simulate an open thermocouple.
Two precision external RTD signal conditioners plus one internal RTD are provided for reference junction temperature sensing. Its built-in self-test feature allows the user to verify the function of the module. Additionally, any channel may be rerouted to the front-panel cal-check connector, making remote calibration check easy. Optional mounting accessories allow the unit to be installed on a DIN rail or in a server rack.
