June 24, 2015 – Vecow releases PE-2000 series PCI Express x4 PoE+ frame grabber expansion card with up to 4 powered independent gigabit PoE+ channels.
Running with Intel I210 Ethernet controller, PE-2000 series PoE+ expansion card supports not only 10/ 100/ 1000 Mbps gigabit data rate but also advanced network features, such as link aggregation (LAG), 9.5KB Jumbo Frame and IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP). PE-2000 series GigE frame grabber card delivers up to 25.5W at 48V DC power by each independent IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) compliant channel without additional power connections in compact and rugged environments.
PE-2000 has -25C to 70C operating temperature, 16 Isolated DIO for power circuit protection and software programmable PoE power switch for advanced PoE power management to benefit more friendly user experience, less deployment effort, easy maintenance and lower total cost of ownership.
The expansion card is designed to work in rugged expandable fanless embedded system, such as Vecow’s ECS-7700 series and RCS-7000 series.
