CAS DataLoggers introduces MCR-4TC 4-Channel Temp Loggers

February 28, 2014 - CAS DataLoggers announces MCR-4TC 4-Channel Graphing Thermocouple Loggers. With an easy touch-panel operation, trend graphing for checking data in real-time, and standalone battery operation, these loggers allow for synchronous measurement of temperature and voltage. Temperature and Voltage Monitoring Applications include:

  • Measuring and recording data for factory control systems and measurement instruments;
  • Taking temperature and pressure measurements inside slow cookers, pressure cookers, and other enclosed cooking containers;
  • Measuring air-conditioner gas pressure and outlet air temperature;
  • Measuring engine combustion pressure and water cooling temperature;
  • Measuring voltage in electrical circuits, and more.

These temperature dataloggers take quick and precise measurements at recording intervals as short as 2 msec. MCR-4TC supports Type J,K,R,S & T thermocouples providing for a wide measurement range from -270°C to +1760°C (-454°F to 3200°F). The clear display indicates Measurements, Trend Graph, Battery Level, and more. It’s easy for users to check their data in real time on the logger’s LCD display using the trend graphing feature. The MCR-4TC can couple with up to 3 additional units to enable users to simultaneously record temperature and voltage on up to 16 channels. When logging on 1 channel, up to 960,000 temperature data readings can be recorded--perfect for collecting data over extended periods of time. The datalogger can be set for a single channel to sample at up to a 10Hz rate and features electrical isolation between channels: MCR-4TC: Users can directly connect the exposed thermocouple junction to the measured object. These multi-channel loggers run on 2 AA alkaline batteries or USB bus power and feature a convenient Preheat Function that saves battery power. Users can select between Immediate or Programmed Start and choose to record in °C or °F. A large-capacity internal memory and auto data export to SD Memory cards allow for long recording periods.
