April 2, 2014 - Softing Industrial Automation announced version 5.30 of its OPC UA C++ toolkits. With this version, Softing has extended the range of supported platforms including Beagle Bone and Raspberry Pi ARM based System on Chip (SoC) solutions. New modeling capabilities significantly simply the UA Address Space configuration and reduce the time for commissioning OPC UA servers. The version is designed with the ease-of-use aspect in mind, offers enhanced performance, and includes additional features like asynchronous service calls that benefit OPC product developers. Furthermore, the version fully supports native 64-bit Windows.
