Balluff releases RFID data carrier

December 11, 2013 - Balluff releases RFID data carriers with extra-large memory of up to 128 kBytes. These drives work up to eight times as fast as the standard ISO 15693, making them a good choice for track-and-trace applications with high data volumes such as those used in assembly lines in the automotive industry.

Built with FRAM technology, the data carriers are maintenance-free, require no external energy supply and have virtually unlimited read/write cycles. Thanks to their high degree of protection (up to IP 68), they offer especially trouble-free communication with a high level of data security, even in difficult environments.
