- PULS Pte Ltd
PULS Power introduces a 20A redundant power supply system at 166mm wide and light weight at 2340g.
Power supply (20A/24Vdc): CPS20.241 x 2, Redundancy Module(40A Mosfet module)ÔºöYR40.242 x 1
- What is the redundancy system of DC power supply?
Redundancy system of DC power supply is a DC power supply system with backup power supply module which can share the load with the other supplies in the system, and redundancy module which can isolate sensitive load circuits with or without alarm signals. It could avoid interrupt once certain power supply is failed and thus provide higher reliability to your power system.
- What is 1+1 redundancy system?
If one power supply self (1) can carry the load, we can configure a backup power supply (+1) parallel for building a 1+1 redundancy system to make sure the load keeps working without interrupt, once one of the power suppliers fails.
- What is N+1 redundancy system?
If N (N>=2) power suppliers together (N) can carry the load, we can configure a backup power supply (+1) for building a N+1 redundancy system to make sure the load keeps working without interrupt, once one of the power suppliers fails.
Reasons for Choosing PULS' Redundancy System:
Unique PLB Mode
PLB (PULS Load Balancing) mode can be used to keep the balance of loads by changing the output voltage of the power supplies tiny linearly according to the changes of the output current. This will prevent a power supply from overloading for long term.
Intelligent ILM Technology
In redundancy systems, the most power supplies work in the low load condition, which is always less than 50% of the rated load. But the most power supply manufacturers pay no attention to the efficiency in the low load working condition. Thus, the power loss is increased and the reliability is decreased. But PULS has its unique ILM (Intelligent Lost Management) technology, and this will keep the power loss being in the lowest level when the power supply is working in the low load or no load condition.
Redundancy module can prevent the redundancy system from short circuit once one power supply fails. Unlike the traditional de-coupling diode redundancy module, PULS provides a new redundancy module thanks to the MOSFET technology whose power loss could be minimal.
Comprehensive DC-ok Function
If necessary for the system, PULS could also provide power supplies or redundancy modules with the DC-ok function. It could alarm immediately when a power supply is failed.
