May 10, 2013 - Eplan updates Engineering Center One (EEC One) software by adding four languages. With this functionality, it ensures improved interaction for automation on an international stage. Customers use the software to generate schematics and fluid plans automatically - now in Russian or Chinese too.Images: EEC One now has multilingual functionality to lift international barriers, thus ensuring improved interaction for automation on an international stage. This new development brings even deeper integration into the EPLAN Platform with increased international orientation of four additional languages and the existing integration extends support for value sets, variants and script technology. In the future, users will be able to access the parts database, within the EPLAN Platform, directly from EEC One and then the selected parts and their properties can be adopted directly and then be used for further automation purposes. The benefits are clear: Increased levels of automation for schematic production, reduced manual input with decreased errors, plus optimized, user-friendly operation. Of course, the new version supports the current EPLAN Platform 2.2. Automation with compliant representation Companies active in the US market need to configure their systems and plants, not only in compliance with IEC standards, but they also -need effective mastery of ladder technology. The new version of the EEC One generates schematics for this typical American standard and as a bonus, simple switching between IEC and ladder views can be achieved within the EEC One settings. The real practical benefit: different target mar-kets can be served from a single data source. Multi-talented - now in 6 languages With four new languages (French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese), EEC One is now set for the global market. In conjunction with the EPLAN Platform, configuration engineers can now generate projects automatically in their own language. The advantage: Language barriers are removed and the degree of efficiency of software use increases. EEC One has established itself within the first year in German and English-speaking countries, and now can support International companies with cross-border locations.
