Vecow Announces ARS-1800 embedded vision controller

December 18, 2012 – Vecow announced the ARS-1800 Intel Atom empowered fanless cost-efficient vision controller. It has Intel Atom D525 1M cache, 1.8GHz processor, 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 3 RS-232 and 1 RS-232/422/485, external accessible CFast, 8 USB, Isolated DIO, PCI-104, and Mini PCIe socket.

Supporting EtherCAT for better communication between devices, ARS-1800 also enables GigE Vision cameras to extend performance and application ranges. Engineering design fanless thermal within operating temperatures from -20°C to 70°C (4°F ~ 157°F), ARS-1800 is an ideal solution for industrial control, intelligent factory automation, machinery computing, automated optical inspection, solar panel inspection, and oil thrilling platforms.

ARS-1800 integrates Intel Atom D525 processor, which has assimilated memory controller to reduce the memory latency and to escalate the general system performance. Optional with 4 GB of RAM and a 2 solid-state hard drives, ARS-1800 enables to add CFast for storage and PCI-104 for extention, and to achieve performance with the reliability and stability of a real-time embedded vision system.

ARS-1800 is equipped programmable GPIO 16-step rotary switch and 4 mode/status LED display provide outstanding adaptability for various environment requests. For seamlessly integrated and built into machines, ARS-1800 is shipped with DIN-rail and two types of wall-mount kits to fit in different environments.
