Control-See releases U.C.ME-OPC Service Pack 2

July 9, 2012—Control See announced the release of U.C.ME-OPC Version 2012 Service Pack 2. The new version introduces Mail Server Redundancy.

Mail Server Redundancy Users can now define two email servers – Primary and Secondary. Once U.C.ME-OPC detects an error sending an email via the primary mail server, it automatically switches to the secondary mail server and vice versa. The result is increased system reliability. For example, when the primary mail server is not available or not responding, U.C.ME-OPC will switch to the secondary mail server – Gmail to make sure the alarm is delivered.

About U.C.ME-OPC:
U.C.ME-OPC is an Alarm Notification & Remote Control software that connects to any SCADA, DCS or OPC server. It can send alarms via SMS, Email, Voice (over Telephony) or Fax. Recipients can acknowledge alarms, query or modify field values remotely using their cell phones and simple SMS commands. U.C.ME-OPC is certified by the OPC Foundation for OPC compliancy.
