October 4, 2011 - ISaGRAF released version 6.0.3. with several new plug-ins including a Sequential Function Chart (SFC) editor, and useful tools such as Device View, Description Windows and a Document Generator. The SFC editor is fully customizable and provides user-friendly features such as unlimited undo/redo, automatic branching and branch-type selection, as well as support for drag & drop and keyboard shortcuts. It also allows users to write level-2 actions in ST or LD, to split windows for level-2 display, and to monitor the active step and its timer. The Device View plug-in, an alternative to the traditional Solution Explorer, allows users to graphically navigate to, modify, save and compile any device. Users can display device and resource properties, available I/O devices and supported C functions and Function Blocks. The Description Window plug-in displays comments and descriptions for all tools. It displays project descriptions as well as comments in a POU, and supports hyperlinks, all fonts and localizations. The Document Generator plug-in allows users to select an item of interest, such as a project or POU, and generate a Microsoft Word document that contains information such as the full project contents, a complete list of resources, variables and programs, etc. About ISaGRAF v6 The ISaGRAF 6 Workbench is a modular and flexible environment that allows users to add or remove components. Every component in the Workbench was developed with and interacts through ISaGRAF’s new Microsoft .NET Framework-based technology called the Automation Collaborative Platform (ACP). The ISaGRAF ACP provides the ability to add or remove the various plug-ins to meet specific automation product requirements. ISaGRAF 6.0.3 includes many plug-ins including a Ladder Diagram editor, a Function Block Diagram (FBD) editor, a Structured Text editor, a Sequential Function Chart (SFC) editor, a Tag Database editor (Dictionary), an integrated HMI (ISaVIEW), plus many other auxiliary plug-ins.
