DAILY RFID releases RFID Tag-05 for metal surface

September 26, 2010 - DAILY RFID released its UHF metal tag-05 for metal surface, which can be affixed to any metal surface either mechanically or by using industrial adhesives. The small size UHF tag is a perfect solution in metal-tagging applications. The small RFID UHF metal tag, typically about 79.5 mm by 15 mm, is specially designed with good reading distance on the metal. This UHF tag can operate well in harsh conditions, including resist against high temperature up to 90° C, as well as a wide range of aggressive chemicals. This UHF metal tag complies with ISO 18000-6B or ISO 18000-6C (EPC Gen2) standard. Despite of its small footprint, the UHF On-metal tag can deliver long range up to 3 meters. And its unique construction enables the UHF tags to perform well in harsh environments, such as dipping in water and acid. With UHF RFID technology, the UHF metal tag combines small size and long-range communication for efficient operation. It is particularly well-suited to the identification of goods and objects in industrial, logistics and production applications.
