June 29, 2010 - Ethernet Direct Corporation announces Falcon FWO-732 industrial dual band outdoor wireless access point designed for industrial Ethernet applications.The Falcon Series FWO-732 is a 5.8 and 2.4GHz IEEE 802.11a/b/g compliant Outdoor wireless AP/Bridge available for industrial Ethernet applications. With innovative technology design, FWO-732 provides up to 108Mbps high data rate for outdoor environment. It links two or more separate networks to create a single expanded LAN network cost effectively and efficiently. The robust IP-68 housing protects the device from harsh outdoor environment ‚Äì weatherproof, waterproof, and dustproof. FWO-732 supports two different operation modes namely Access Point and Bridge. In addition, the built-in Power over Ethernet design reduces the cost of power cable installation and provides future proof investment. To secure information, it comes with WEP encryption and WPA function.
