February 8, 2010 – METTLER TOLEDO added RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment) and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) compliance to their electrodes. This makes them free of lead, mercury and other hazardous substances prohibited under RoHS guidelines, making them easier to dispose of at the end of their life cycle.Available in a variety of styles, including refillable and low-maintenance versions, InLab electrodes are designed to meet the most stringent requirements of today’s laboratory.METTLER TOLEDO offers electrode products for a variety of applications, such as pharmaceutical samples, chemicals, pure water, cosmetics and food. All sensors have self explanatory names:

  • The InLab Micro Pro, a TRIS-compatible micro-electrode with long-life ARGENTHAL reference and an integrated temperature probe enabling more accurate readings thanks to automatic temperature compensation.
  • The InLab Viscous, an electrode with an easy-to-clean design and the industry’s first SteadyForce reference system which uses a unique overpressure electrolyte system, guaranteeing electrolyte discharge while eliminating junction contamination issues. This state-of-the-art sensor yields extremely reproducible results for highly viscous samples such as resins, suspensions and cosmetics.
  • The InLab Expert Pro, a generalist with a maintenance-free XEROLYT polymer electrolyte features two open reference junctions that cannot clog, irrespective of the sample being measured.
