The included managed 4 port Ethernet router/switch with PoE and flexible fiber port options, 5 serial ports, and phone modem can reduce the number of required panel components, as well as support Gateway protocol converter applications. Flexible I/O interfaces support over 3,000 local points, remote Ethernet I/O, or industrial bus I/O such as Profibus, DeviceNet, and more. FPGA allows for easy customization for OEM applications.SoftPLC HardbooksSoftPLC Hardbooks embed all the features of SoftPLC PAC's (see above). SoftPLC Hardbooks are stand-alone industrial controller CPU’s that can be used for applications requiring flexibility, extremely fast processing or I/O, interfaces to PCI bus cards (eg: motion, bus I/O), and more. Standard systems include 2 Ethernet ports, 2-4 serial ports, 2-6 USB ports, minimum 128MB memory, and removable compact flash. A wide variety of I/O (eg: Ethernet, Profibus, DeviceNet) and other interfaces are supported.
