Mode selector allows one model to operate in many different applications, which simplifies selection and reduces inventory. The mode can be selected with a screw driver rather than a computer. “With Honeywell actuators, you simply turn a dial,” said Kirkwold.
Wiring access cover, a Honeywell-unique feature, eliminates the need for a conduit wiring junction box, reduces installation time and material and provides conduit connection on all models.
Self-centering shaft adaptor grabs the shaft with single screw turn instead of requiring the use of a difficult U-bolt.
Honeywell standard wiring saves time because this DCA wires the same as all other Honeywell actuators. The new actuator expands Honeywell’s broad actuator portfolio. Ccontractors and consulting engineers can get all the actuators they need for heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) applications from Honeywell.
