Honeywell introduces WEB-700 building automation control
April 2, 2009 Honeywell announced WEB-700 Niagara controllers for large facilities, multi-building facilities and large-scale control system integrations. The WEB-700 controller provides complete, reliable building automation control with fewer components to maintain than bulkier, more complex controllers. The controller integrates easily into a system, serving data and graphical information to a web browser through Ethernet LAN, remotely over the Internet or using a dial-up modem. Real-time data, alarms and other control information are integrated through these powerful controllers. The WEB-700 controller provides ports for optional color touchscreen, keyboard and mouse.Other key features include:
Onboard 440EPX PowerPC processor at 667 MHz.
Scalable plug-in DQR-Z memory.
MiniPCI option slot for WiFi 802.11g support.
Remote security and remote input/output (I/O) module support.
Recharging and monitoring support for external 12V battery. No longer do facilities need a standalone workstation for large-scale facility control, said Dave Molin, general manager, Honeywell Building Control Systems. The WEB-700 delivers control information right to your browser, so you can manage your facility even more efficiently, conveniently and cost-effectively than before.Honeywell International is a $37 billion diversified technology and manufacturing leader, serving customers worldwide with aerospace products and services; control technologies for buildings, homes and industry; automotive products; turbochargers; and specialty materials.
