September 4, 2008 - The eNET range of Ethernet to Serial converters, available from Audon Electronics, are a simple way of connecting any serial device, whether RS232 or RS485 to a Ethernet network. They feature a simple setup procedure, ease of operation and automatic network recovery. Supplied with Programming examples and Virtual Serial Port software, to seamlessly add serial ports to your Network.There are presently 4 models in the range. The eNET-100 is the budget level model with a single RS232 or RS422/485 port. Housed in a robust plastic enclosure with mounting tabs, the eNET-100 is ideal for cost-sensitive applications. Next is the eNET-132. This has 2 serial ports, 1 x RS232 and 1 x RS42/485. The eNET-132 is housed in a robust metal enclosure and is suitable for industrial applications. A 6 port version is available in the form of the eNET-432. this has 4 x RS232 port and 2 x RS422/485 ports.Finally, the eNET-132W is a wireless WiFi version of the eNET-100. This unit supports IEEE 802.11b/g, uses spread Spectrum Technology with full WEP 64-bit/128-bit data encryption and has a maximum transmission Rate of 54 Mbps. Prices start from just £65
