SANTA ANA, Calif. - December 28, 2007 - ITT Interconnect Solutions developed a range of nano-miniature connectors that use twist pin micro-miniature contact technology. The connectors feature a reduced contact pitch of 0.635mm, providing significant space and weight savings when compared to conventional micro-miniature connectors. The nano-miniature connectors feature high reliability electrical contact terminations with insulated wire/pigtails, providing secure connections even in severe shock and vibration environments. The miniature circular connectors are available with up to 266 contacts and feature a wide range of contact counts and layout configurations, along with a variety of terminations, to meet specific customer requirements. The nano-miniature connectors have a contact rating of 1A and a lifespan of 500 mating cycles. For applications where EMC is a concern, a version of the connector is available with a NDM metal shell, 3.81mm seated height and 9-37 contacts in single row layout.Lead time for the nano-miniature connectors is from 6 to 10 weeks.About ITT Interconnect SolutionsITT Interconnect Solutions is an international supplier of connectors, including circular, rectangular, fiber optic, RF, power and high voltage, audio and application custom specific connectors, PCMCIA and Compact Flash Card connectors and enclosures, and cable assemblies.ITT Electronic Components includes the brands Cannon, VEAM and BIW.About ITTITT Corporation supplies advanced technology products and services in several growth markets.
