Wickliffe, OH, September 12, 2007 – ABB announced today that its System 800xA Extended Automation AC 800M controller recently achieved Achilles Controller Level 1 cyber security certification. Wurldtech Security Technologies, a leading provider of security products and services for the industrial automation industry, introduced its Achilles Controller Certification Program earlier this year. The Achilles testing process is very rigorous. According to Wurldtech, the majority of controllers submitted have failed Level 1 Certification testing, and a substantial number have still not passed on retest.
