TURCK releases analog input station for DeviceNet

October 7, 2007 - Minneapolis, Minn. — TURCK Inc. has added an analog input station capable of supporting four analog inputs on the DeviceNet network to its expanding line of fully encapsulated DeviceNet I/O stations. The analog inputs may be configured for either analog current (0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA) or voltage (0 to 10 V or -10 to 10 V). A rotary switch or DeviceNet configuration software may be used to configure the station for all analog current inputs, all voltage inputs or any combination of the two per customers’ specifications. The heavy-duty station is capable of on-machine installation in harsh environmental conditions. Fiberglass reinforced nylon housing and full epoxy encapsulated electronics provide an IP 67, 68 and 69K environmental protection rating when all ports are covered with plugs or connected. TURCK is an industry leader providing superior quality sensing, connectivity and network products to help manufacturers improve their automated processes.
