June 23, 2006 - In addition to the cPCI card, IXXAT now also offers a PCI card for ETHERNET Powerlink, the EPL-IB-200/PCI.The card can be used as managing node (MN) and as controlled node (CN) to enable the implementation of realtime-compatible PC-based PLC applications. In addition, the card serves as a platform for PC-based analysis and test systems and can be used with the IXXAT EPL configuration program.The ETHERNET Powerlink functionality is fully implemented on the card and the reference data of the PC application are provided via a process map.The card has four RJ45 ports and can be used as MN or CN with a 4-port hub, as 2-channel CN or as MN/CN. In MN and CN mode, it has fast response times (< 2 µs) and very low SoC jitter. The card is capable of processing large quantities of data from systems with more than 100 CNs.The scope of supply includes a driver for Windows 2000/XP with API (programming interface).
