MIDDLETOWN, Pa. -- Phoenix Contacts new industrial Wireless Ethernet Radio products provide truly secure wireless communication and an unprecedented level of data protection. The 802.11 a/b/g industrial radios are the first of their kind to feature 802.11i/WPA2 security with AES-CCMP and 802.1x, the most advanced security measures available. The simple, IT-friendly embedded software allows any network PC with a web browser and proper identification the ability to configure the devices. Because the software is embedded, there is no software installation required, eliminating the learning curve. The radios support three different modes Access Point, Client, and Bridge/Repeater and can be used in many different types of applications. The versatile line is available in both wall-mount and compact DIN-rail-mount versions and supports both the 2.4GHz and 5 GHz bands. Built-in RS-232 and RS-422/485 device servers allow the integration of serial devices onto the wireless Ethernet network.
