September 18, 2006 The Sierra Monitor 5100-02-IT is the only Catalytic Bead Combustible Gas Sensor with a 6 month (180 day) calibration cycle. Now the user can have the advantage of long term calibration of an IR sensor and cost effectiveness and the broad detection range of the proven catalytic bead sensor. This long term calibration cycle has been performance tested and approved by Factory Mutual. Dangerous combustible gas can build up in enclosed areas of industrial plants such as oil, gas, and petrochemical facilities.
