September 21, 2006 - SIXNET is pleased to announce its new line of IP67 industrial Ethernet accessories. These super rugged, IP67 and military-tough accessories are the ideal match for SIXNET's new IP67 Ethernet Switches. They're easy to field-install, with no tools required. Offerings of the accessories include an RJ45 Ethernet plug (part # ET-RJFRB-6), an RJ45 Bulkhead connector (part # ET-RJFRB-71), a power plug (part # ET-RJF-PWR-1) and a protective cap with tether (part # ET-RJFRB-C7). These fit over standard Ethernet cables with ease. They have a positive lock for shock and vibration resistance and protect against dust, oil and water. Their strain relief prevents cables from breaking. And the quick ¼ turn reverse-bayonet latching reduces installation time and costs. SIXNET IP67 accessories support data rates of 10 to 1000BaseT. Operating temperatures offer a wide range of -40° to +85°C.
