Applications include automated and robotic manufacturing and most process industries.High Repeatability and Accuracy CoolPoint™ flowmeters are designed to provide consistent flows of water, water-based machine coolant and water/glycol mixture. Repeatability is +/-1 percent of actual flow, and accuracy is +/-2 percent of actual flow. This high repeatability and accuracy provide consistency in cooling loops using low viscosity, clean or dirty water-like liquids compatible with brass, PVDF and Viton.Flow Rate Up to 600 GPM CoolPoint™ flowmeters are offered in pipe sizes ranging from 1/4 inch to 4 inches, providing flow rates ranging from .4 (four-tenths) of a gallon per minute to 600 gallons per minute.Temperature Transmitter Available For flow applications involving heat removal, CoolPoint™ flowmeters have the added capability of monitoring temperature readings and transmitting them to a process controller. As an option, CoolPoint™ units in 3/4 inch through 4 inch pipe sizes can provide temperature readings ranging from 32 degrees F to 210 degrees F, which can be expressed in either Fahrenheit or Celsius on the local LED readout.Totalizing Capability Totalizing capability is a feature of CoolPoint™ units. The flowmeters have a scaled pulse output as a standard selectable option. This scaled pulse output increases their ability to measure, monitor and control the total amount of water or coolant used in a process.No Potential for Clogging The CoolPoint™ flowmeters are built for effective measurement of water and recycled or filtered coolant that may contain particles. These electronic meters have no moving parts to stick or coat, thereby eliminating potential for clogging.Easy to Specify, Install and Use CoolPoint™ flowmeters are easy to specify, install and use. They are sold by pipe size, and all other features are selectable by pushing buttons on the meter face. Wiring is simplified by use of a pin connector optionally sold with the product.Economically Priced Prices of CoolPoint™ flowmeters range from $350 (U.S.) for the 1/4 inch size to $1,800 (U.S.) for the 4 inch size. Meters with temperature transmitters are an additional $300 (U.S.) to reflect the added capability.
