Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) have both certified the Company's newly announced DM1800 embedded wireless mesh networking module. With this regulatory approval, the DM1800 is now available to provide connectivity in wireless sensor network applications in the United States and Europe.RF Monolithics' DM1800 module is an economical embedded solution for mesh networking applications of up to several hundred nodes. It incorporates several features that make it particularly easy to set up and operate a wireless mesh network. The DM1800 provides ultra-low power operation while communicating up to 200 meters between nodes in a mesh network. The DM1800 module provides the best combination of price, coverage, and low-power operation currently available in a commercial wireless mesh networking product.
