Robust Design with Overload CapabilitySITOP Smart power supplies are tough and designed for industrial environments. When it comes to ambient temperatures all SITOP Smart power supplies can be used up to 60 degrees C. Unlike most other power supplies on the market, SITOP Smart does not require any derating up to 60 degrees C, which is one example of its robust design. SITOP Smart’s overload capability gives you the flexibility to continuously overload the power supply with as much as 120% of the rated output current, as long as the ambient temperature does not exceed 45 degrees C.Worldwide AcceptanceSITOP Smart has extensive worldwide agency approvals to meet the requirements of OEMs with universal applications. With SITOP Smart Siemens offers approvals such as; UL 508, CSA, CE, GL. SITOP Smart is able to handle applications in hazardous locations according to the European ATEX (Atmosphere Explosible) approval and UL Haz Log (currently pending). Due to the radio interference level of class B according to EN 55022 SITOP Smart can be used in industrial or residential applications. In addition to the standard harmonic level power supplies, as an option we offer the 5 and 10 A units which meet EN 61000-3-2.
