Description
As part of a campus wide open house at Pittsburgh Technical College, our high tech Emerson Industrial Instrumentation Lab will be up and running. Come meet with the head instructor, see our high-end Process Control Trainers, our Gas Flow Measurements systems, and wireless SCADA based communications networks. The lab/classroom is fully equipped with Emerson and E+H pressure, temperature, level, mass flow and volumetric flow instrumentation. Rockwell Controllers and HMIs provide an engaging interface to the LabVolt 3531 Process Control trainers. Students in the program also work with Fluke 754 Process Calibrators for bench calibration, bench troubleshooting, and troubleshooting measurement loops. The Emerson FB107 Flow Computers highlight the fully functional gas flow metering runs, along with GE/Freewave 900 MHz Spread Spectrum Transceivers to create SCADA based communication networks. The program is concentration of our Electronics Technology degree program, so student can earn an Associates Degree or a Certificate. Visit our website at for more information and registration. Walk-ins are welcome.
